How to Get a Quote
Tell us what you need and when. A construction crew on site? An event in a week? An emergency septic backup today? Ann Arbor Porta Pros will ask about your project size, the ground conditions, access for delivery, and how long you'll need the equipment. Restroom trailer rental for a wedding takes different planning than portable toilet rental for a demolition crew. We'll ask whether you've got a preferred delivery date and whether placement in the public right of way needs confirming with the city. The more details you give us upfront, the faster we move.
Standard portable toilets rent by the day, week, month or event. Deluxe flushable units cost more but run cooler and smell better. ADA accessible portable toilets need floor space for a 60 inch diameter turning circle and a ramp with slope no steeper than 1:12, per ADA Standards section 405.2. Roll-off dumpsters need about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck. Septic pumping depends on tank size, household size and whether you're on a residential system (pumped every 3 to 5 years typically) or a commercial grease interceptor (pumped when solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth).
What Affects Your Price
Duration matters more than unit count. A standard portable toilet on a daily rental costs less than the same unit for a week, and weekly is less than monthly. Delivery fees run separately. If you're renting portable restroom trailers in Ann Arbor, a 4-stall unit costs more than a 2-stall, but you're spreading the daily rate across more people, so per-user cost goes down. Dumpster rental by the week runs higher than day-rate dumpsters, but the gap narrows when you need the container for two weeks or a month.
Access and ground type shift the bill. A standard portable toilet sits in a 60 to 70 gallon holding tank and measures about 44 by 48 inches on the ground. If your site is soft soil, steep, or far from the service road, setup costs more. Winter rentals in Ann Arbor may have seasonal surcharges. Handwashing station rental adds cost if your crew is applying paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides: OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities in those cases, and per 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2), soap and towels or a hand dryer must be present, hand sanitizer alone doesn't meet code.

We'll email you a quote with a breakdown of rental costs, delivery, service fees and any add-ons. If you're renting from us, we'll schedule pickup and delivery, confirm placement with you, and lock in your dates. Most customers approve a quote and book the same day. Questions about OSHA portable toilet requirements? We can walk you through toilet counts for your crew size. Unsure if you need emergency septic service or can wait for a regular pump? Ask us, we've handled both in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Pittsfield, Scio, Westland and Taylor.
How fast can you deliver?
Same day in most cases if you call before 10 a.m. Weekends and holidays take longer. Emergency septic pumping can roll within a few hours during business days.
Do you rent to homeowners?
Yes. Home renovation porta potties, storage containers for estate cleanouts, and septic pumping for residential systems. Call with your address and we'll tell you whether we service your neighborhood.
Can I move the dumpster once it's dropped?
No. Our trucks handle placement. Moving it yourself voids your rental and damages the unit. Tell us exactly where you want it at quote time.
Do portable toilets need a permit?
Placement in the public right of way needs confirming with the city. We can advise, but you'll need to check with Ann Arbor municipal offices for porta potty permit requirements on your specific site.
What if I need to extend my rental?
Call us and we'll add days or weeks at the rate that applies to your new end date. Extensions are common and we can almost always accommodate them.
